Hampstead Real Estate

Nestled in between Wilmington and Jacksonville, the town of Hampstead has a lot to offer.  People love Hampstead for the local golf courses and country clubs, the highly sought-after Topsail School district, many new home communities and the vast network of waterways, which are perfect for boating, fishing, and bird watching.

For these reasons, the town of Hampstead has witnessed substantial growth in recent years, with a population growth of around 40 percent between 2010 and 2020.

Located across the Intracoastal Waterway from the communities that make up Topsail Island, including Surf City and Topsail Beach, Hampstead offers easy access to local beaches, where it’s possible to go swimming, surfing or sun bathing.

Several marinas in the Hampstead area are available to help boating enthusiasts access the pristine waterways and marshes, along with the nature preserve at Lea-Hutaff Island, a deserted barrier island that can sometimes feel like a private beach.
